Head coach Randall King has taken the Broken Arrow softball program to a new level. The Lady Tigers reached the finals in Class 6A by playing aggressive at the plate and taking their cuts at good pitches. Westmoore starter Kaci Quintero was the best option having pitched 28 scoreless innings until home runs by Stephanie Brewer, Chelsea Lyon and Megan Sullivan ended that streak. Coming into the contest Westmoore was ranked No.1 and looked as though their run to title was certain. The Broken Arrow Lady Tigers came in ranked No.2 with a record of 34-3. The 6-2 win over the Lady Jaguars was Chelsea Lyon's last game as a Lady Tiger. She's verbally committed to play softball at the University of Iowa next year. In Class 5A Lawton Mac defeated Shawnee by a score of, 2-1.
