Who's No. 1?

Saturday, September 13, 2008

OK, let's start the debate? Who's No. 1? For that matter, who's No. 2. Union made its case for No. 1 by beating No. 2 Jenks, then again Union lost to Broken Arrow, so there's no clear-cut favorite. Union has faced the toughest competition in the state so far this season, but Norman North has looked impressive in its two wins - including a victory Friday over Muskogee. Meanwhile, Midwest City has rolled in its two wins, making the Bombers look like a solid contender for a state title. Now, while it's a toss-up on who the best team in the state is, you can cast your vote for the best in the West by going to our poll question on the Central Oklahoma home page. Also, make sure to check back on Sunday for the updated VYPE football rankings in Class 6A through 2A.
