Here's my list of the top ten QB's in Eastern Oklahoma. 10. Jay Swab - Holland Hall - Swab passed for 200 yards against a salty Cascia Hall defense. The one interception was costly, but overall performance was great. He had two great balls for touchdowns. Look for impressive numbers from Swab. 9. Spencer Hobbs - Catoosa - Hobbs is a big quarterback that can run or pass. He was 12 for 28 and 213 yards last week. 8. Kirby Schoenthaler - Bartlesville - A big win over Stillwater got the crowd to their feet and so did Schoenthaler's three touchdown passes. He also added 221 yards to the record books. 7. Andrew Bell - Claremore Christian - No one threw more than Bell last Friday night. He attempted 53 passes connecting on 26 for 246 yards. Three of those catches were touchdowns. 6. Johnny Deaton - Sand Springs - He completed 22 of 40 passes with only one interception. He also had a touchdown pass and 184 yards against Enid. 5. Joey Rogers - Metro Christian - Quarterback high has yet another prospect in it's ranks. Rogers completed 22 of 37 for 278 yards and three touchdowns. This kid could really light up the scoreboard this season. 4. Eric Bennett - Booker T. Washington - Talk about rise to the occasion. Bennett tossed 25 balls and completed 18. He threw for 296 yards against a tough Carl Albert team. 3. Malachi Blankenship - NOAH - No picks and three touchdowns last Friday night. He also threw for 225 yards. It seems Blankenship has been doing this for years with NOAH. Solid player, makes great decisions with the ball. 2. Shawn Jackson - McLain - He may be a linebacker playing quarterback, but make no mistake, Jackson is a dual threat. He passed for 115 yards and two touchdowns, but it was on the ground where he did the most damage. Jackson rushed for 232 yards and two more touchdowns giving him a total for the night of 347 yards and four td's. 1. Clint Chelf - Enid - Chelf went 14 of 22 for 276 yards and three touchdowns. The University of Tulsa commit is fluid with the football and makes great decisions. No int's last Friday night. Chelf may surprise some team's with his ability to place the deep ball. He can also roll out and hit guys on the run. Did I leave someone out? Then drop me a line and state your case.

Corey Davenport is listed in your RB's, but he is Grove's QB this year. Grove beat 4A #3 Wagoner 43-6 Friday night. Corey had 287 yards passing and 4 TD's and 95 yards rushing.
