Boise City - Jeremy Richardson

When the closest movie theater and bowling alley is about one hour away, you can't help but become tight with your teammates and townspeople. "We're all real close because there aren't as many places to go, so we hang out together all the time," said Jeremy Richardson, a senior and lifelong Boise City resident. From the famous town square in Boise City, you can drive just about 30 miles in any direction and be in one of five states. Opponents regularly come from Kansas, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas and, of course, district rivals from Oklahoma. "It can be a real advantage when district teams have to come here and play us, but it's just as much a disadvantage when we go on the road," said Richardson. "It takes awhile to get back on track after sitting on a bus that long."
