Putnam City's Xavier Henry still thinking about Kentucky

Xavier Henry, an incoming college freshman out of Oklahoma City committed to play basketball at Kansas, still is considering playing for the University of Kentucky, his father told a Kansas City radio station today, according to reports in the Kansas City Star and Louisville Courier-Journal.

Kansas Coach Bill Self and assistant coach Danny Manning are expected to fly to Oklahoma City tonight, to talk with the Henry family, the Star reported.

In an interview that aired on 610-AM in Kansas City, Carl Henry said his son, one of the nation's top recruits out of Putnam City High school, originally wanted to follow ex-Memphis coach John Calipari to Kentucky before committing to the Jayhawks.Read more on NewsOK.com
