Boys Midwest City Bombers (27-1) The defending champs will depend on Jarrod McDaniel (5-foot-8, senior) to run the offense and find ways to get Chuck Sanders (6-foot-6, senior) involved in the game. Putnam North Panthers (20-8) Senior point guard Dennon Mitchell (6-foot-2) is a leader on the court and Brentrell Friday (6-foot-2) can dominate a game when he wants to. Jenks Trojans (21-5) The Trojans are loaded with veteran talent including 6-foot-7 senior Vince Boncaldo. Bryson Pope (6-foot-6, junior) is a major force inside as well. Putnam City Pirates (21-5) Maybe the best player in Class 6A Xavier Henry (6-foot-6, junior) is explosive and has great ball control. Edmond Santa Fe Wolves (14-11) Senior Ross Morrisett (6-foot-6) is the player to watch for the Wolves, but Nic Combs and Rickey Vick can hurt you if you don't pay attention to them. Union Redskins (26-1) The semi-final defeat still haunts the team, but senior Antonio Ross (6-foot-7) wants another shot at the title and this could be the year for the Redskins. Memorial Chargers (18-8) The Chargers have an electric guard/forward in Blaise Staab (6-foot-6, senior) who averaged over 15 points per game last year. Broken Arrow Tigers (19-6) The Tigers return two starters from last season, but look for Chris Gardner (6-foot-6, senior) and Kendall Barrs (5-foot-11, senior) to make big impacts this season. Lawton Wolverines (15-8) The player to watch is Will Reinke, a 6-foot-10 junior who can average a double- double every game. Norman Tigers (7-16) A bad season last year has the Tigers focused on getting off to a good start. Austin Allen is the team's best shooter and could put up big numbers. Girls Sapulpa Lady Chiefs (27-1) The defending champs will look to the future Tennessee Volunteer, Alyssia Brewer (6-foot-3, senior) for another run at a title. Union Lady Redskins (19-7) Lindsay Palmer (5-foot-10, senior) and sophomore standout Carrington Fox (6-foot-1) are hungry for a state title. Norman Lady Tigers (21-6) Junior forward Ashley Bruner (6-foot) averaged nearly 15 points per game as a sophomore and nine rebounds. Jenks Lady Trojans (23-4) Tia Magee (6-foot-2, senior) has all the tools to lead this team to a title. A deep bench will help first year head coach Rhonda Fields. Del City Lady Eagles (22-3) Porschea Jefferies (5-foot-11, senior) is being considered as one of the best players in 6A. Very athletic and good with the ball. Claremore Lady Zebras (21-7) Welcome to 6A. One player that doesn't phase is Audra Skimbo. The 5-foot-10 senior has the talent to push the Zebra's deep in the playoffs. Mustang Lady Broncos (26-2) Jordan Pyle (6-foot-1, senior) wants another shot at the title after last year's runner-up finish. Midwest City Lady Bombers (13-12) The Lady Bombers look to Diamond Ashmore (6-foot-2, junior) to lead this team if they have any hopes of a title shot. Enid Pacers (14-9) With four returning starters the Pacers are looking good on paper. Dysyan Malone (5-foot-8, junior) is the team's best shooter. Choctaw Lady Jackets (15-9) To win games the Lady Jackets need lots of production from Kaylee Davis and Bridget Reynolds. This season she the Lady Bruins will depend on her even more. Jennifer Almey, Sand Springs (5-foot-6, senior, guard) Quick and good with the ball, Almey should average double digits in scoring. Brandon Webb, Owasso (6-foot-4, junior, center) Webb is big and can clear the ball on crucial defensive rebounds. He can average double-doubles and he's only a junior. Jaren Riley, Claremore (5-foot-10, senior, guard) Riley has the tools to be a great player and will carry the load for the Zebra's. Improvements in his passing game and rebounding will help.
