Dax Dilbeck makes his choice

YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST... VYPE has broken the story that Dax Dilbeck, quarterback for Edmond Deer Creek, has informed VYPE that he plans to attend Oregon State University and play football. Dilbeck has been on a tear recently while impressing folks at Nike camps and most recently at the VYPE 7-on-7 tournament in Edmond, held last weekend. Standing at 6-foot-3 and being a four year starter, he looks to continue his success. He has already thrown for nearly 4,000 yards in his career and should add a couple more thousand to that this season. This will be Dilbeck's first year in class 5A and he should succeed against stronger competition. "He's just a tremendous athlete," said coach Grant Gower. "He will make some program very happy at the next level." He may be a surprise on some people's radar, but his notoriety has stretched all the way to Corvallis, Oregon.
