The Jenks Trojans have things to take away from last nights passing league at Broken Arrow. Quarterback Sawyer Kollmorgan looked comfortable in his reads and was impressive passing the ball as he worked with a receiving corp that lacked wide-out Jarrett Lake. Lake, who has garnered scholarship offers from multiple Division I universities, sat out of the evenings activities.
Defensively, the Trojans got beat by deep passes early in the evening. But were strong in the middle of the field and on defending short routes. Linebacker Trent Martin stood out physically but also was good in his coverage in the non-contact 7-on-7 passing drills.
The Trojans will play host as the passing league comes to Hunter-Dwelley Stadium next Tuesday, June 30, starting at 6pm.
