Zebra Sophomore Impresses at Combine

Claremore Zebra sophomore running back Chase Talbert had an impressive performance at the Schuman's National Underclassmen Football Combine at LaFortune Stadium May 31st. The results of that combine were recently released and the young Zebra back finished with a great forty yard dash time.

Talbert ran the forty in 4.58 seconds which put him as the fastest sophomore and the eighth fastest attendee at the combine. Talbert registered the top vertical of sophomores with a 33 inch vertical. That was also the third best vertical for all participants.

Talbert is expected to build upon the success and promise he showed in the Zebras season finale against Sapulpa last year as a freshman.
