Bomber Magic Midwest City won another state wrestling championship, dominating the field to win the Class 5A state title. It's the Bombers' 15th state championship, the first since 1995. They did it by winning three individual titles while medaling in four other weight classes. Here are the ones who helped the Bombers to the title Tim Untrauer - Won first state title at 103 pounds with a 5-3 win over Tyler Dorrell of Del City. Willie Gunter - He followed up a state championship at 103 pounds last year with a state title at 112 pounds this season. He had an 11-4 decision over Broken Arrow's Derek Steeley in the final. Seth Johnson - His first state title was a hard-fought 4-2 decision over Cody Fuller of Sapulpa at 119 pounds. Tyler Untrauer - Close again, but no state title. Finished third at 125 pounds after runner-up finishes the past two years. Derek Peperas - Lost a heartbreaking 2-1 decision to Stillwater's Chris Perry at 171 pounds. Mark Meyer - Finished fourth at 145 pounds. Ryan King - Finished fourth at 152 pounds. Still the Best These wrestlers finished their careers with multiple state titles: Kory Selmon, Weatherford - Three-peat for Selmon, taking care of the Class 3A 171 pound weight class with a 7-1 decision over Oologah's Derrick Adkins. Chris Perry, Stillwater - Different weight class, same result for the senior. This year he won at 171 pounds while he won at 160 a year ago. Walker Clarke, Stillwater - The senior dominated all his matches at 189 pounds, including a 10-2 major decision over Billy Deal of Norman North. Clarke won last year at 171. Aaron Smith, Shawnee - Smith was a surprise state title winner last year. This season, he came in as the favorite and proved why with a 3-0 win over Kenny Wheeler of Ponca City at 135 pounds in Class 5A. Chris Hacker, El Reno - Defended his Class 4A state championship at 152 pounds with a 7-4 win over Clayton Robinson of Bixby. What a Finish Classic state title finishes this season: Braden Land, Edmond North - It took nearly two matches for Land to win the Class 5A 275-pound division. Land made his first state championship a memorable one with a 2-1 double overtime win over Enid's Justin Glenn. Raymond Lane, Star Spencer - He won his first state title in Class 3A 189 pounds in exciting fashion by defeating last year's champion Tyson Yoder of Weatherford 3-1 in overtime. Bobby Williams, Tuttle - He won 6-1 in overtime against Zack McLoud of Blanchard. Noble Performance A pair of Noble High wrestlers dominated this year winning state titles: Colby Whitlock - Whitlock, who has signed to play football at Texas Tech, finished his senior season at 26-1. He did it in style, capping off the season with his first state title, pinning Ardmore's Michael Reed in the third period of the heavyweight division. Josh Johns - It was perfection for the junior. He finished 31-0, winning his first state title at 171 pounds with a 6-1 win over El Reno's Derek Thompson. Newbies Here are a few newcomers who made an impact at state: Jeremy Garner, Western Heights - The favorite to win the Class 4A 140 pound weight class heading into the state tournament. He proved why, defeating Carl Albert's Jared Porter 3-2 in the final. Landon Comes, Carl Albert - The junior had little trouble through the Class 4A 119-pound field, capping it off with a 5-1 victory over Ryan Rosales of Catoosa. Sean Rasmussen, Cordell - Rasmussen wasn't the favorite going into the Class 2A 119 pound weight class. But he dominated, including a 17-8 major decision over Matt Allen of Barnsdall. Elliott Hellwege, Kingfisher - He won his first state title at Class 2A 189 pound weight class with an 8-1 win. Brotherly Excellence El Reno may have had its 11-straight state championship streak ended this year by Catoosa, but the Dauphin brothers did their part to help the Indians finish second in Class 4A: Cory Dauphin - The freshman made quite a first impression, winning the state title at 135 pounds over Harrah's Travis Quintero in a.19-2 technical fall. Cody Dauphin - He made a surprising run all the way to the finals at 215 pounds. He finished it off with a 5-4 victory over Ada's Bryon Soloman.
