All-Metro Teams for both girls and boys were picked recently in Green Country. All soccer players in the Tulsa-Metro area from grades 9-12 were eligible to be picked. The Boys First Team Consisted of seven seniors, four juniors, and one freshman. Sr. Thomas Shannon, a forward from Broken Arrow, was picked after an outstanding season with 15 goals, and 14 assists, he finished his high school career with 43 total goals and 29 assists. Union's Sr. Defender Jason Brooks had a great year as well only allowing three goals all season and led the Redskins to an 11-2 record. Paul Girod, Sr. of Jenks, Led the Trojans with 14 goals and eight assists. The All-Metro Girls Team held eight seniors and four sophomores. Four-year starter Katie Bykowiski finished her career at Bishop Kelly with 50 shutouts and surrendering only 22 goals. Sr. Midfielder Sarah Brown Scored seven goals and 14 assists and will be playing at Oklahoma State University next year. Amy Petrikin, Forward of Bishop Kelly, Had an Amazing total of 22 goals and nine assists; she was a big contributor to her teams 18-0 season.
