What is your favorite sports related Christmas memory?

One memory that really sticks out for me is back in December 1996, I would tell people that all I wanted to for Christmas was to beat OU. So we played OU, while I was at Tulsa, a few days after Christmas in the All-College Tournament in OKC. I played a pretty good game and we just so happened to beat them in a very close game. We hadn't beat OU at that time in like 10 plus years and lost twice in the All-College finals my 1st two years.

The favorite memory would be us winning the 1999 Tournament of Champions in double overtime. We were underdogs against Midwest City with no one giving us a chance to win the game. Our kids made big plays late to send us to overtime and we were able to hold on for the win.

Probably when I was at OSU from 1992-95 and having practice over the Christmas break. It was a time of just relaxing and hanging out over the break outside of practice and not worrying about anything else.
