What is the most memorable game of your career and why?
Ron Smith Bartlesville High School
Most memorable game of my career would be the 2000 State Championship Football game. Which is the only state championship I've won as a head football coach and my son Paul Smith, the Tulsa quarterback and now Jacksonville Jaguars was playing for me at the time. That would have to be the one for me.

The time we (Broken Arrow) beat Jenks in overtime for the district championship in 2002. The fact that it was fourth and goal from the ten in overtime, we completed a pass to Jason Ray after our starting quarterback, Mick Majors, had been knocked out.

I have no idea. Probably, I would say. 1983 at Enid in the semifinal game against Midwest City. The year we won the state in the semifinals Midwest City had by far the best team in the state. We beat them 20-7 up there that night and that game probably stands out as one that I will always remember. More so, then the state championship game the following week.

Would have to be the 1990 state championship when I was at Lawton Eisenhower we played Putnam City North for the state championship. The reason why is we had such a great run with those young men at Lawton Eisenhower. Not only was it exciting for the coaches but it was exciting for the players. We had the number one ranking by USA Today as the best football program in America.
