Alief Taylor snags 38-35 win over Aldine in 5A playoffs

Locked in a freewheeling offensive struggle in which the last team with possession would likely come out on top, Alief Taylor was determined not to give the ball back to Aldine. The Lions kept their offense on the field for almost seven minutes, eventually kicking a 36-yard field goal with 57 seconds left to play that provided the difference in a 38-35 win Friday at Tully Stadium.
