Conrad Weiser started their fifth year of scholastic hockey this week, losing to Exeter 9-0. The score may seem negative to some people, but insiders see a glass more than half full. Five seniors will graduate this year, but the development of many underclassmen give the Scouts reason to believe that this season will be successful and lead to better seasons down the road. Sophomore Austin Harrish and freshman Landon Trutt appear to be strong between the pipes. Other underclassmen showing promise are juniors Colin Blandford and Nick Schagger, sophomores Eric Anderson, Nick Shannon and Derek Souders as well as freshman Kyle Janoczkin. The Middle School team has some great kids playing that should be ready to contribute and add depth in the upcoming years
