Conrad Weiser's Lamont Fowler Takes 6th at National Junior Olympics

Fowler qualified for finals with a 2nd in his heat
Omaha, Neb. In the 400 meter dash final (young men group)Sunday at the USATF National Junior Olympic Track and Field Championships, Conrad Weiser's Lamont Fowler ran a 48.56 to take 6th behind winner Danzell Fortson's 46.36. To qualify for the final, Fowler ran a 48.31 on Friday to take 2nd in his heat. Fowler competes for Tri-County Express out of Pottstown. The event record is a 45.63 set back in 1995.
