We want to share some exciting news with you. In the coming months, you’ll start to see some big changes in our publication. Get ready for a new, high-powered brand that will focus on the lives and lifestyles of our local high school athletes.
Over the next couple of months we’ll be launching our new brand…VYPE High School Sports Magazine. As a play on words “varsity” and “hype,” we are celebrating not only the latest in high school varsity sports, but we’ll also be enhancing our coverage of the lifestyles of our Berks County high school athletes. We’ll cover what makes athletes tick, what the latest trends are in sportswear, how athletes prepare for college, and many other stimulating and entertaining topics. VYPE will be your complete tool to find real content about local student-athletes, covered by a local writers, photographers, and editors from right here in Berks!
With this new brand, we will be launching a brand new online community at www.VYPE.com/GreaterReading. We want to know about you! You’ll be able to post clips of your big play, start a blog, tell us about a big game, and connect with other athletes from Berks County and around the country. The web site will have content specific to Berks schools written and photographed by student journalists.
It's July and it’s time for us to take a little vacation. Look for our football preview and other great features in our August issue. Keep the photographs and story ideas coming and we’ll see you in August!
