Carroll's D.J. Irving commits to Boston University

Archbishop Carroll senior D.J. Irving gave an oral commitment to play basketball at Boston University. The 5-foot-10 point guard chose the Terriers over Rider yesterday. Irving is scheduled to sign a binding national letter of intent on Nov. 16.
