Fairdale's senior guard, Kayla Thompson, has started the season strong with averages of 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 steals per game. She may have a reputation as a hard-nosed player in the 6th Region, but her coach, Marco Price, says she has become a true leader for the basketball team this year. "She is a leader and captain on the team. She understands what it means to lead by example," says Price.
