Aaron Wagner, John Vogel, Matt Vogel and Timothy Scott
Eighty players joined the Manual boys' golf team in the first annual Slyder Cup golf scramble on May 17 at Shawnee Golf Course. The tournament netted $4,300 for the Manual boys' golf booster club and The First Tee of Louisville, an organization created to promote character development and life-enhancing values through the game of golf. The team of Manual players Aaron Wagner and Timothy Scott, along with Jon Wagner and Scott Osborne, won first prize for shooting 59. Closest-to-the-pin winners were Matt Vogel and Aaron Wagner.
