POTENT PITCHING
Ballard starting pitcher Brittany Mockbee racked up 18 wins during the season, and captured the win in the final game of the 7th Region Tournament. The Bruins knocked out Region 6 champs Pleasure Ridge Park 8-2 in the first round of the state tournament June 6th. After a 14-inning marathon later that day against Ryle that ended on Ryle's side, Ballard could not get past Christian County in the third game of the day.
