St. Xavier senior Maclin Simpson won the 100-Yard Butterfly with a time of 49.87 at the KHSAA Swimming and Diving State Championships on February 14 at the University of Louisville. Simpson also took second in the 200-Yard Individual Medley and swam the ‘fly for the winning 200-Yard Medley Relay team.
