Mercy’s Therese Montano holds off Scott County’s Ally Conrad as Mercy got the best of Scott County 62-57 in the Shooting for the Cure tournament on January 10. Sixteen Kentucky girls’ basketball teams took the hardwood to benefit the Brown Cancer Center. A silent auction of items such as signed basketballs by Denny Crum, Rick Pitino, Darryl Griffith, Dr. J, Magic Johnson, Tubby Smith, Pat Summitt, Joe B. Hall and other items also raised funds for the center.
