Moore Mustangs Head Coach: Yvette Smith Last Year's Record: 25-6 Key Returning Players: Jules Beach (Sr. SG), Whitney Jones (Jr. PF) and Ally Ward (Jr. SF) Coach's Comments: We will be looking to build upon the success of the past two years and their 51 wins. Our work is cut out for us as we look to replace 7 of our top 9 players along with the head coach. Losing 6'4" junior Ondrea Shaw to Oak Hill Academy in Virginia is the largest obstacle we will have to overcome. While we may have lost Ondrea, we love the fact that we have two 8th graders who are among the best in the city, and both will play major minutes this season. We feel that while we may lack the firepower to simply outscore teams like we have in the past, we still have the athletes, desire and attitude to win 15-20 games this year, make a run at another district championship, and be a factor in the regional tournament.
