KHSAA soccer tourney starts

This week begins the KHSAA soccer district tournaments as teams begin the stretch run to helping crown an eventual state champion. Both boys and girls begin this week at various sites around the Louisville area. A key matchup on the boys side includes a 12th district group of teams that includes #1 St. X, #7 Manual and #13 Male. Both the district winner and runner-up move on to the regional tournament the following week. On the girls side, the 16th district includes #8 South Oldham, #14 Oldham County, and # 21 North Oldham.
