Nike Challenge Volleyball

Assumption HS wins title
The Assumption High School volleyball team traveled to Chicago for the Nike Challenge over the past weekend and won the title by beating St.James of Lenexa, Kansas by a score of 25-14 and 25-12. Assumption, who is currently ranked #2 in Kentucky met their rival Sacred Heart #3 in a semi-final match. The Rockets won that match by a score of 25-20 and 25-16. The teams have met each other twice this season and have split their matches. Later this week, Assumption is back in action against the #1 ranked team @ Mercy. Congratulations to the Rockets and best of luck to all local teams as the season moves on!
