Golf Tournament

Regional tourneys start 9-29-08
The KHSAA regional golf tournaments for boys and girls begin on Monday, 9-29-08 at various sites around the state. The Region 3 tourney will play @ Lindsey Golf course in Ft. Knox and the Region 5 tourney will be played @ Weissinger Hills in Shelbyville. Sacred Heart, the defending region champ, will be playing in Region 5. The boys in this area will be playing at Nevel Meade in Prospect, within the Region 6. St. X, the defending region champion will be part of this tourney. The Region 5 boys will be played @ the same course in Ft. Knox as the girls. Region tournaments select the top 2 teams and top individuals, not on one of the top 2 teams, to qualify for the state tournament. The finals are set for Bowling Green Country Club next week.
