Rumble thru the Jungle Invitational

The fifth annual Rumble thru the Jungle Invitational cross country meet was held on Saturday at Creasey Mahan Nature Preserve in Goshen, Ky for both boys and girls. The Butler boys nipped St.X for the boys team honors, 78-80, while the Assumption girls easily outdistanced the Eastern girls with a score of 64-102. Leading the way for Butler was junior Darius Berry who finished ninth with a time of (17:10.17). St.X, who finished second, placed two runners in the top 5. On the girls side, AHS was led by Allison Riedling, who finished 3rd overall. Assumption placed 3 girls in the top 8 to help finish first. The Individual winner on the boys side was Stacey Eden from Shelby County and the girls individual winner was Emma Brink from Sacred Heart. Congratulations to Butler and AHS!!
