Sacred Heart wins Apple over Assumption

The Sacred Heart Valkyries won the Apple Cup last night, pushing their win streak to 58 games. A 2-1 defeat over the Assumption Rockets gave the Valkyries their 5th straight Apple Cup title. They scored a goal in each half; the first from senior Jessica Lindner, and the second from junior Courtney Kuiper. Assumption's goal was scored by Bethany Schweiger.
