Schnell joins SHA basketball staff

Valkyries hire old Whitefield coach
Tony Schnell has joined the Sacred Heart Academy basketball team's staff as assistant coach, under Donna Moir. Schnell has been the coach of the Whitefield Academy girl's basketball team for the past four seasons. Schnell's record while at Whitefield was 44-64, with an impressive season last year finishing 17-11. The Lady Wildcats set a school record last season for victories, and also won the All "A" Seventh Region Championship.
The Sacred Heart Valkyries finished their season 18-13, losing in the first round of the Seventh Region Tournament to Fern Creek.
