Derek Smith Shootout to begin

The start of the high school basketball season is still more than four months away, but you can get an early look at some of the top teams this weekend. The annual Derek Smith Shootout has 32 teams, including many of the state's top teams and some from out of state, and will run Friday and Saturday at Hoops.
