Owensboro edges Bullitt East 6-5 in final

Bullitt East High School's historic baseball season was ended by a historic underdog. Owensboro, which entered the postseason with a 6-14 record, took a 6-0 lead after two innings and held on for a 6-5 victory over the Chargers in Friday's semifinals of the Forcht Bank/KHSAA State Baseball Tournament at Applebee's Park.
