PRP's Zack Cox was named this year's Mr. Baseball. Cox is a third baseman and pitcher for the Panthers. As a pitcher, he was 10-0 with an ERA of 0.97. Cox had 108 strikeouts in 67 innings. Not only was he a great pitcher and fielder, but Cox also batted .457 with 7 homeruns and 46 RBIs. Cox has signed to play with the University of Arkansas. PRP's head coach Bill Miller was named Coach of the Year. Players to join Cox on the first team All-State included PRP's Zach Osborne and Luke Bainer, Eastern's Tyler Dunaway and Kiley Jones and St. Xavier's Justin Amlung and Kal Scheler. Eric Bainer and Trey Harper of PRP and Tyler Stephan of Trinity were named to the second team.
