Bullitt East routs South Laurel 16-5

In its first trip to the state tournament, the Bullitt East High School baseball team made quite a first impression. The Chargers scored 10 runs in the first inning — sending 14 batters to the plate — and cruised to a 16-5 victory over South Laurel in a quarterfinal of the Forcht Bank/KHSAA State Baseball Tournament.
