Hardins rush Ballard past Fern Creek, 28-21

With its starting quarterback sidelined, the Ballard High School football team went the family route to move on in the Class6-A playoffs. Drew Hardin rushed for 111 yards and two touchdowns and brother Flo Hardin scored the game-winning TD with 1:21 remaining as the host Bruins beat Fern Creek 28-21 in a back-and-forth first-round game.
