Fairdale rallies past Bullitt East as third-quarter burst fuels 39-22 win

After trailing by a point at the intermission, visiting Fairdale scored 21 points in the third quarter and pulled away to defeat defending 4-A runner-up Bullitt East 39-22 in the opening round of the playoffs Friday night. The Bulldogs (8-3) will play Western, a 24-8 winner over North Bullitt, Friday in the second round.
