Frankfort boy collapses in gym, dies

A 15-year-old who was trying out for Western Hills High School's basketball team in Frankfort has collapsed and died. The State Journal in Frankfort reported Monday that freshman Waseeq Shahid (wah-SEEK' sha-HEED') collapsed six minutes into practice Monday afternoon and was pronounced dead at Frankfort Regional Medical Center at 5p.m.
