Wildcats earn Vype Team of the Week Honors

The Eagan High School boys and girls track and field teams share this week's Vype Team of the Week honors after a Wildcat sweep at the Section 2AAA True Team meet, May 6-7 at Park High School in Cottage Grove. Both squads now advance to the State True Team meet, held May 16 at Stillwater High School. Eagan's boys squad won with a score of 848.5, with first-place finishes going to Sam Frisell in the pole vault, Nick Harms in the 110-meter high hurdles, as well as the 4x100-meter relay team. The Wildcats' girls team recorded 758 points for its victory, with top placings going to Elise Raney in the high jump, Katie Ryan in the 110-meter high hurdles and Taylor Berg in the 1600-meter run.
