National Prospect picks Seton Hall
A sports Web site out of New York reported Monday night that prep school basketball prospect Melvyn Oliver, who visited Nebraska over the weekend, has committed to Seton Hall.
MSG.com quoted the 6-foot-11, 340-pound Oliver's coach from Mississippi Elite Christian Academy about the decision to play at the Big East Conference school.
Oliver originally is from Los Angeles. He played three years of high school ball in Las Vegas, one year in suburban Los Angeles and then one year at the Mississippi prep school. He averaged 20 points, eight rebounds and three blocked shots this season.
