After shooting a 76 to win the St. Paul Academy Invitational, the senior shot a 1-over-par 73 to win the Tri-Metro Conference championship for the second straight year. He medaled in all 13 of his team’s matches this season.

Emmanuel Matadi, St. Paul Johnson, Track and field
The senior captured his seventh victory and the St. Paul City Conference title with a 10.51-second 100-meter dash, marking the state’s fastest time this year and missing the all-time state record by just .06 seconds.

Olamide Fadahunsi, St. Paul Johnson, Badminton
The sophomore, who compiled a 25-1 record on the season, became the state singles champion with a 21-16, 21-17-win over St. Paul Harding senior Stephanie King.
