Kelsey Anderson, Burnsville, softball The sophomore pitcher threw a dominant 35 innings, 30 of which she didn't allow a run, to lead the Blaze to a 5-0 record last week. Anderson, who had a perfect game in a 2-0 win over Bloomington Kennedy, has racked up 27 strikeouts in her past three games, while allowing only eight hits. Colin Keefe, Woodbury, baseball The junior catcher came through clutch in extra-inning wins against Roseville, St. Louis Park and Cretin-Derham Hall last week. He hit a game-tying two-run homer in the seventh in a 10-9 win over Roseville and a game-winning RBI double in the eighth in a 5-4 win over St. Louis Park. He also went 3 for 4 with three RBI in a 7-4 win over Cretin. He had a combined eight RBI in the three-game win streak. Hudson Carpenter, Stillwater, golf The junior used three straight birdies in the final three holes in the second round to win the Tri-State Invitational at the University of Minnesota's Les Bolstad Golf Course. He finished with a two-day score of even-par--142. He was also a co-medalist at the Park Invitational, finishing with a 74. Stormy Nesbit, Roseville, track and field The U of M-bound senior sprinter ran to eight first-place finishes in two events last week and led her team to the Apple Valley Invitational championship, where she finished with a school-record time of 11.88 seconds in the 100-meter dash. She also won the 200-meter (25.1 seconds), triple jump (35 feet, 7 inches) and was part of the 4x200 relay team that finished in 1:46.83.
