Assumption, Moore and Mercy Help Hungry Kids

Enthusiastic athletes and fans brought 82 backpacks on their way to enjoy the first Carnival on the Green at Assumption Green for Blessings in a Backpack. The event included class booths, vendors and a double header athletic event to help potential students capture the spirit of Assumption. The Rockets took on the Moore Traditional School Mustangs in softball, winning 15-0. The lacrosse Rockets fell to the Mercy Jaguars 8-10. Congratulations to all participants in a great event that will benefit kids who need extra food for the weekend through Blessings in a Backpack.
