Duncanville guard transferring to Waxahachie

The Dallas Morning News is reporting that Duncanville junior guard Jamison Sterns is returning to Waxahachie. Sterns (6-0, 215) was the District 15-4A Freshman of the Year in 2007. He left Waxahachie for Duncanville during his sophomore year in February 2008 but did not play for Duncanville. He averaged 7.1 points and two rebounds as a reserve guard for Duncanville this season. Sterns was expected to be a starter for Duncanville for the 2009-10 season, alongside 6-11 Baylor commitment Perry Jones, 5-9 point guard Cameron Lenzy and 6-7 forward Luke Mergerson and 6-7 forward Julian Washburn.
