Goddard senior Lindsey Keller, signed with Oklahoma State, leads the selections for this August's KBCA girls all-star game. The coaches association chose Keller as Miss Kansas Basketball. Joining Keller on the South squad will be the area's other dominant post player, Joanna McFarland, who has signed with Oklahoma State. After teaming up this August in the KBCA game in Topeka, the two will continue their rivalry in college. Carroll's two senior guards, Abby Fawcett and Julia Marshall, also were selected to the team. From 4A through 1A, no senior players in the Vype coverage area were selected. Here are the complete roster selections for the South and North squads. Collegiate sophomore Ashia Woods made first-team all-state in 3A. Cheney's 6'3" sophomore Merissa Quick made second team in 4A. In addition to Carroll's Marshall making first team in 5A, Andover Central junior Tiffany Bias made first team. Carroll's Fawcett made second team. In 6A, Keller and McFarland made first team, while Heights junior Kamisha Richard made second team.
