Tahlequah Wins Slugout Classic

The key to slow pitch softball...hitting...proved successful for Tahlequah en route to a 10-1 victory over Muskogee in the championship of the 22nd annual Muskogee Slug-Out softball classic. The Tigers, ranked #4 in Class 6A, roared through the weekend undefeated picking up six wins and improving their record to 15-2 on the season. Muskogee, with five wins during the classic, stands 15-3 on the season. Union defeated Sallisaw in the third place game.
