Putnam City basketball player Xavier Henry made it known after the McDonald's All-American game that he would not be attending Memphis University where he had committed. Henry and several other high profile basketball players have decided against attending the university after John Calipari accepted the head coaching job at Kentucky. His brother C.J. Henry will also be leaving the school according to sources close to the family. C.j. Henry sat out last season on a medical hardship. Sources tell VYPE that Henry is considering Kansas or Kentucky. No word on whether or not either school has offered Henry a scholarship, but they do appear to be the front runners. Henry's parents played at Kansas, but Henry really liked the way Calipari coaches and wouldn't mind playing in one of the high profiles programs in the country. Keep checking with VYPE for the latest updates and news.
