Garner Gymnast becomes NC Vault Champ

Garner Gymnast Taylor Williams won a gold medal on vault at the N.C. USAG Level 7 Gymnastics Meet in Winston Salem on March 28 with a near perfect, 9.55 score. This was her fourth vault championship. She won twice at level 5 and once at level 6. She also took third on the floor exercise with a 9.275 and finished the championship meet by placing 6th All-Around with a combined score of 35.225. Taylor, 14, is a rising freshman at Garner Magnet High School. She trains at Artistic Gymnastics and is coached by Karen Hughes and Adina Stock.
