Manual Girls' Lacrosse Wins Braveheart

Sacred Heart's Braveheart Tournament took place from Thursday, March 19 - Sunday, March 22 and featured 23 girls' teams, including 10 from outside Louisville. Manual's varsity squad defeated Westerville North 9 - 3. The Varsity MVP was Karen Thai from Manual. (Westerville is just outside Columbus, Ohio) Ballard's team won the JV division over sponsoring Sacred Heart, 12 - 4. The JV Most Valuable Player was Catie Furnish from Ballard. The tournament was sponsored by Class Act Federal Credit Union and Stickhead Lacrosse and Sports/Brine along with Yum! Brands Inc. and a host of other friends of lacrosse.
