Harrah Lady Panthers Area Champs

Harrah lady panthers used a 17 point 4th quarter effort to pull away from Edmond Deer Creek in thurday's 5A Girs Area West Championships. With the win Harrah Advances to State Quarterfinals in the Oklahoma city area. Deer Creek will play on saturday afternoon against Ada who was a winner against Lawton Macarthur on Thursday night at Edmond Memorial. Harrah set the pace early with a 10-0 run. Deer Creek got untracked by hitting some timely three points baskets to lead 11-10. The see saw game had Deer Creek on top 22-21 at the break.

The second half belonged to the panthers as they limited the Antlers to 9 points the whole second half and harrah used pressure and timely shooting to doom the Antlers.

Harrah was led in scoring by Chelsea Robinson with 9 points, Jessica Hobbs and Racheal Watkins had 8, Kayla Thomas 7, Kalie Lucas and Callie Burt 5, and Macenzie Whitman 4.

The panthers will next play on thursday in the state quarterfinals.
