The Muskogee Seven

The Muskogee Roughers have been sending football players to college campuses for years and recently some big names have landed on some big time campuses. Wednesday the Roughers sent seven players to East Central University. Of those signing with East Central, the most notable may be linebacker Erik Howell. Howell was tagged by some before the season started as a possible Division I player. "He's a great player and seems to be in on every defensive play. No one has more heart on the field than Erik Howell," said Bill Huddleston the radio voice of the Muskogee Roughers and VYPE Sales Director. Other players on the list for East Central include: Angelo Shipp (pictured) D'Niccko Cubit Jordan Brown Jack Lewis Kevan Anderson Matt Messer Other players from Muskogee signing on Wednesday were Robert Thomas (Arkansas) Vernon Scott (Colorado).
